How Do You Protect Yourself From Spam Emails?

1. Use temporary email address if you want to use it for temporary purpose only. You can get temporary email from Mailinator.com

2. Type your email differently. Rather than typing the usual email format, type it like this you[at]email.com. It will protect you from spambots.

3. Don't enter your information into suspicious websites. How do you know if the website is suspicious or not? You can do it by installing the McAfee Site Advisor. However, now similar feature also available if you're using the Yahoo Search Engine. It will advise you wether the website you're visiting is a safe website or not.

Hacking A Router and How You Can Prevent It

It come to my suprise that people seldom change the default password of the router that they bought and use it as it is. This is a dangerous practice because people can easily hacked into it by trying default username and password such as "admin" and "admin".

I tried once and I did get in into the router by using the default passwords. I immediately inform the owner of the router about it and asked them to change the username and password. In order for you to not get infected, you need to change your router username and password and you need to do it fast.
