I checked my visitors stats today in Google Analytic and decided to check out what is the most-used web browser that my visitors use when browsing this blog. I assume that the data collected from this blog is quite representative and could be used in my analysis. The result is actually not that suprising. Below is the result:

1. Firefox – 41.22%

2. Google Chrome – 29.32%

3. Interner Explorer – 23.36%

4. Safari – 3.57%

5. Opera – 1.79%

6. Other – 0.74%

The most-used browser is Firefox with a staggering 41.22% users, I think this might be due to the the amount of plugins that it has. You can find almost every plugins that you can think of to use with this browser. The loading speed might be slower than Google Chrome,however I don’t have any data supporting this statement. I just personally think so.

In the second place, is Google Chrome, used by 29.32% users that have visited this blog. I personally expect Google Chrome to be the first one because I use it all the time. It’s easy to use, fast and you can choose your browser theme.

In the third place is the Internet Explorer, I don’t expect this browser is in the list. Due to the lots of vulnerability and my experience of using Internet Explorer, I don’t expect it to be even in the 5th place. Still, it managed to get 3rd place.

Safari is the next one, but the difference between Internet Explorer users and Safari users is almost 20%. I don’t have much comment about this browser because I never used it.

The last place is Opera with 1.79%. Even though I think Opera does have some good feature, but it looks like only a few of the visitors actually used it.

So there you go, the most-used browser would be Firefox while the lowest one was Opera. Is this result representative? Yes, I would think so.

I’ve posted few posts regarding how to fix laptop screen in the past. Even good and expensive laptop will face this problem. If you still have the warranty, it might not be a problem, just pack your laptop and send it to repair center. However, if your warranty has already expired and you prefer to do your own fixing, here’s how.

First of all, you need to troubleshoot where the problem lies. In case you missed my article previously, check it out:

Do you have a problem with your laptop screen? Are you really confident the problem actually lies with the screen itself and not the internal display hardware? Repairing the screen is a major repair and you’re going to need an extensive knowledge on the subject before attempting to repair it.
However, you can try to troubleshoot the problem and report it to your technician. This way, it’ll be easier for him to find the problems.
In this article, I will explain three easy steps to troubleshoot the screen before sending it to repair laptop screen shop.

1. If you can see the power lights are lit, try to press the Caps Lock button at your keyboard for a few times. If the Caps Lock light turns on and off during that time, then you can be sure that the display is the problem and not the laptop itself.

2. Next, try to adjust the brightness to low and then high. If during this moment you can see the screen display, it means you need sufficient lighting because sometimes, you can’t really see the screen with low light or bright light. Therefore, find suitable lighting.

3. Next, try to use an external monitor. The purpose is to see if you can see the display at the external monitor. If you can, then it’s time for you to send your laptop to repair laptop screen shop because the problem actually lies with the screen and not the internal display hardware.

By using these three easy tips to repair laptop screen, you can inform your technician regarding the problem and make it easier and faster for him to find the problems and settle it for you.
